There is a time for everything. The eastern thought and philosophy put just everything within a definite frame of time and period. Thus, accordingly, as one is born a certain period in his life is allotted for playing, followed by learning, new relationships, settling down after marriage, sex, children, family, bringing up children getting them settled, so on and so forth. There are even more elaborate ways and activities when it comes to placing them in time and period frames.
The western thought and philosophy on the other hand developed around the tenet just-do-it-anytime. Thus you can play all your life if you are a member of a sports club; combine sports with office or even learning while you are in the profession to upgrade your knowledge; marry from the age marriageable age to your deathbed, have sex as soon as you have a hard on whatever be your age and till your muscles allow; and do something about it if they do not respond to your sexual dispositions, for sexless life is not worth living. Hence, never say die, live life full size or king size, as you like, as an advertisement for a particular brand of cigarettes would have us to do.
But those were the values of yore. The cotemporary thought stems from what went wrong all this while – time for everything is now being valued; now there is stress on a more regulated life and above all appreciation for time-regulated and responsible sex. The reckless times of sexual revolution in the west threw up an era of unplanned pregnancies, abortions and motherhoods causing irresponsible parenthoods and a neglected section of the society growing up abused, unattended as a result. Family values are staging a major come back like never before and the days and ways of abandon are being shelved and abandoned for good.
Hence no sex before marriage and no marriage before the right age are the norms being respected far and wide. If early sex is thrown out of window, its importance to lead a happy life in the prime active age is increasingly recognized and inadequacies being successfully treated
